I truly enjoyed Horrors of History. Fourteen authors with distinct voices write about events in world history and what supernatural occurrences may have help shaped those events.

The stories take us to the trenches of WWII, where gangsters and zombies collide in the roaring 20's and aboard the Mary Celeste, an abandoned cargo ship. I don't give away spoilers in my reviews but these stories are well worth your time to read.

While my favorites were Public Enemy, Croatoan and 28 Days of Horror, all the stories kept me guessing until the end. Some are a bit gruesome, which I don't mind, some are not, but they were all suspenseful and well written by talented authors.

If you are a history buff, like horror and want a good read, pick up a copy of Horrors of History. You won't be disappointed.

For the most part this was an entertaining book. There were a couple of stories I found hard to "get in to", kinda boring.
If you are a fan of short horror stories, this is for you. Based on historical events but with a twist.
Pretty good anthology of horror stories. None were truly scary but most were well written and very descriptive. A few were a little boring but that's to be expected.
